Description

“Juliet” is a bright, joyful, small format square oil painting by Monica Shulman. A vivid, heavily layered artwork that punctuates her rhythmic, gestural marks with strong contrasts featuring black and white paint coupled with varying shades of pinks, reds and subtle green and yellow tones, “Juliet” will add glamorous, dynamic texture and color to any space. This energetic, sculptural painting is created on a gallery-wrapped canvas that is painted on all four sides.

Monica has been featured in various publications including Popular Photography, Create magazine, and the Huffington Post. In 2019 she was named “Best Artist” in Westchester by Westchester magazine. Her work has been shown at the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City, the National Association of Women Artists, Photo LA, Art Market Hamptons, PULSE Art Fair, and the New York Mercantile Exchange, among others.See
