Crafted in France circa 1870, and almost 6 feet tall, the large antique gilt mirror features an arched and serpentine top showcasing a lavish crest in high relief adorned with scrolling acanthus leaves and floral motifs, embellished with a central ribbon, adding a sense of grandeur and elegance. The sides of the frame are decorated with a continuous pattern of rounded, gilded elements, giving the piece a luxurious and opulent appearance. The gilt finish complements the classic, time aesthetic, reflecting both elegance and craftsmanship. The large Louis XV style mirror is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns the original rich gold leaf finish.
